VIDEO : Harvey Weinstein Will No Longer Produce Artemis Fowl

Harvey Weinstein has been removed by Disney as producer on Kenneth Branagh?s Artemis Fowl movie. The adpatation of the popular scifi/fantasy novel series has been in development ever since the first book hit the shelves in 2001. Weinstein originally acquired the rights to the series through Miramax Films in 2001. Those rights were transferred over to The Weinstein Company when Weinstein formed the studio along with his brother Bob Weinstein, in 2005.
