VIDEO : Emperor Palpatine Is Dead

Audiences headed into screenings of The Force Awakens knowing that Kylo Ren would be a major villain. But they discovered an even bigger threat existed in Supreme Leader Snoke. The character ordered around Kylo and members of The First Order. This led many to begin wondering about the leader's history. They even questioned if the Emperor had returned. During a recent interview, actor Ian McDiarmid confirmed his Palpatine character was unquestionably dead.
McDiarmid told BBC, "As far as the new films are concerned, I'm dead. There is no question about that."
