Star Wars: The Last Jedi will give fans more information on the character of Finn, where he came from and why he made the decision to escape from the First Order. After being featured heavily in the early trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the character of Finn the unmasked stormtrooper quickly became someone fans had a lot of curiosity about. Speaking to EW, Boyega teased some of what The Last Jedi will reveal about Finn and his life before becoming a stormtrooper. It seems the movie will give some information about Finn?s origins but won?t necessarily delve deeply into the character?s background. The one question the movie will address, at least in a small way, is why Finn suddenly decided to flee from the First Order after Kylo Ren ordered him and the other stormtroopers to massacre the villagers of Taunul.
