According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Brooke Shields has been tapped for a major recurring role for the 19th season of the long-running NBC drama 'Law & Order: SVU'. Even though details on Shields' character is currently underwraps, reports say it will shake up the world of Mariska Mariska Hargitay's Olivia Benson. In a statement after news of the casting, Shields said, "I play a very different character from any I have ever played. I'm excited to stir the SVU pot a bit.
