Edgar Wright has garnered a loyal fanbase thanks to his cult classics like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz and with his recent film Baby Driver he was expected to reach Hollywood blockbuster success. Did he succeed? It seems safe to say he has, thanks to a strong opening weekend. Since its premiere, the film has already tripled its $34 million production budget in worldwide box office gross.
