Mark Hamill recently revealed that he was interested in playing the role of the Vulture a.k.a. Adrian Toomes, the main villain of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The part was played by Michael Keaton and fans loved him. He is the primary antagonist to Tom Holland?s Spider-Man in his first standalone movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hamill has a talent for playing villains. He voiced the Joker in several Batman animated adventures. But why did he want to play a bad guy in a live action movie? As Hamill puts it "There?s not a lot of villainous roles for senior citizens." Hamill disclosed that he crossed his fingers, in hoped Keaton would turn the part down.
