The new Mary Poppins musical received a warm reception by Disney's D23 on Saturday, where film's footage debuted. Actress Emily Blunt described the audience to ET as, "joyful," providing the "best kind of platform for you to launch a clip of your film.? The 30-second clip previews Blunt as the beloved nanny, and will feature new music, new characters and will even be based in a new era. ET adds that the original film came out in 1964. The new Mary Poppins movie will be based in London, during The Depression.
