Al Pacino is playing Penn State football coach Joe Paterno in an upcoming HBO exclusive and the network has just revealed its first picture of Pacino in character. The film, which has been in the works for the past five years, tells the story of legendary football coach Paterno becoming involved in the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. In June 2012, fellow coach Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of child molestation.The news challenged Paterno's legacy and he died one year later at the age of 85.
